Set amongst an abundance of natural resources, Hocking County offers a fully developed transportation infrastructure and several build-to-suit, lease and lease-purchase development and investment sites. Hocking County boasts an unparalleled quality of life that features excellent schools, affordable housing, safe neighborhoods and a variety of recreational activities. Every year thousands of tourists and visitors converge on the region to enjoy our state parks, national forests, nature preserves and cultural arts.

The Hocking County CIC is a privately funded economic development entity governed by a local, volunteer board of trustees and a full-time executive director. The organization may purchase, develop and market commercial buildings and commercial sites in cooperation with private developers and property owners. The Hocking County CIC has been instrumental in marketing Logan and Hocking County as a great place to live and work.
